I woke this Sunday morning to whiteness!! And as soon as I saw the snow falling down, I thought to myself, here is a little "God Wink". Now, let me explain my God Wink to you. Scott does not go to church with me...sad but true. In fact he has trouble fathoming that there is ONE God who could create ALL OF THIS!! And just last night, after many years, I asked if he would like to go to church with me in the morning (don't you think that in itself is a bit of a wink from a divine source?). Now the reason I was thinking this was a little God Wink is because he would not let me drive in the snow, so therefore, he would have to drive and gosh maybe just stay so he could bring me home!! Of course, once I got close to the window and viewed the landscape, I clearly saw NO snow on the roads, so....what are the chances he will agree to go with me? Clearly he won't be forced by divine intervention (unless in the next hour it comes down pretty heavily). But I do think God was trying on my behalf! So there you have it, my God Wink may have not worked this time, but the seed is planted and there is always PRAYER!!
The pictures today are of the first snow of 2009. This has been the winter to remember, and only God knows what is yet to come. I am joyfully waiting to see...today's snow is the kind that most people are the happiest with ...just a bit of whiteness, but it does not interfere with their life choices. Now for me, I would not mind at all more, more more!
Although, we do have plans for today so I am hoping we don't get a lot of accumulation. We are taking all the adult "kids" to a BIRTHDAY celebration. We do it once a year and take care of everyone. Now this is not the day they were born, this is the day of them making a choice for a new life! So Lacey is celebrating 7 years, can you believe it? She is my little miracle girl. I am so joyful and blessed that she made the choice to choose life instead of drugs.
Remember: Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16
