Yesterday I went to my favorite stamping store, Stamp a dee do dah!! and made a couple of cards. As I was waiting for class to begin, I was browsing through the store. A lady was up near the counter and she turned to me and asked if I had a seat already. I told her, "yes, I have a chair saved". She then gave me $4 which was the cost of the class. I told her NO! It is okay, I have money sitting on the table at my space, and she would not accept NO. She said, " I just do this sometimes, just say "thank you!" Well, what a little God Wink was that? So now I will need to "pay it forward" and do the same next week for someone else! I just thought I would share with you this random act of kindness. I gave the lady a hug and said to her, "You get what you give!"
Words to ponder by Mother Teresa:
Kind words
can be
short and easy
to speak, but their
echoes are truly
endless.
Just imagine the echoes from this kind lady who performed this random act of kindness. What a world it would be if we all performed an unsolicited act of kindness each day to ones we don't even know! Can you just imagine the echoes rebound?
I am posting the two cards I made yesterday, and because it is hard to read the one card, I wanted to share the verse with you.
The beauty of friendship is not the
outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile...
it's the spiritual inspiration that comes
when you discover that someone else
believes in you and is willing to
trust you with their friendship.
God Bless my many friends. You are blessings in my life! I love you all.
